Are you looking for a congregation that simply follows the Scriptures?
- Christ is the founder, head, and Savior of His body; the church (Matthew 16:13-18, Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 5:22-33, and Hebrews 3:1-6). We are simply His church! Nothing more or less. Abiding in Him and our Father through following His will (II John 1:9). If you do not find it in the Scriptures, you will not find it practiced among the saints in this congregation.
- We assemble every first day of the week (Sunday) at 10:00 AM (Acts 20:7).
- At the moment, we are assembling in the home of one of the members just as you see in the Scriptures (Romans 16:4-5, I Corinthians 16:19, Colossians 4:15, and Philemon 1:2). We assemble in a house because Christians often assembled in houses in the New Testament, and the location of an assembly is not what makes the church. Contact us for where we are assembling when you plan to attend.

What Is the Church?
The church, the body of Christ, is not a building or denomination — it is people (I Corinthians 12:27). Specifically, the church belongs to Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:12-18 and Hebrews 3:1-6).
The Bible teaches that the church is made up of those who will be saved (Acts 2:47).
What To Expect When You Visit
1. What should you wear? We ask that you dress in a way that covers your body. The focus here is on the internal with only concern for modesty externally (I Timothy 2:8-10). That's it! Men can be as "dressed up" or "dressed down" as you want and the same for women. None of the male members currently wear suits and ties. Some of the women wear dresses and others jeans. Come comfortably dressed in a way that covers your flesh. Worship is about spirit and truth (John 4:20-24), not a fashion show.
2. What about children? Your children are more than welcome. Going all the way back to the Law of Moses, children were taught the word of God (Deuteronomy 6:6-7 and II Timothy 3:14-17). They will stay with you throughout the class and worship time. We have children both young and older within our assembly.
3. How long does the service last? Our first study is about 90 minutes and begins at 10:00 AM. After that, we take a small break before the time of our formal worship. The worship does not end on a fixed time, but typically lasts 60-90 minutes. The worship includes prayers of thanksgiving (I Thessalonians 5:16-18), preaching (Acts 20:7), singing (Ephesians 5:19), the Lord's Supper for the saints (I Corinthians 11:23-33), and a collection of/for the saints (I Corinthians 16:1-4). On some occasions there will be a report given or matters pertaining to the church publicly discussed (Acts 14:26-28 and Acts 15:1-35). All of which you are welcome to observe. 4. Can I ask questions? Absolutely! During the 90-minute Bible study questions are encouraged. They can be on topic or not. You can expect a Bible answer and explanation in return (Nehemiah 8:8). Our first study is an open Bible discussion. Questions are encouraged, and we work through the Scriptures together rather than listening to a lecture. If you prefer not to speak up during that time, you are more than welcome to ask your questions afterward or arrange for a time to study privately. During the worship time, the setting is more formal as expected by God (I Corinthians 14:40). So, at that time questions are asked to be held until the service concludes.
5. Will I be asked to give money? NO! There will be a time when a collection is taken, but that is for the members of the congregation (I Corinthians 16:1-2). It may be handed to you to pass along, please do not think that is a suggestion you ought to give.
6. What is the seating like? Mostly, we have lightly padded folding chairs. There are also more comfortable seating options available if needed (for example, a couch). We do currently meet in the home of one of the members, so we sit close to one another.
7. Will I be asked to participate? If you are visiting with us you will not be asked to lead prayers, read, or anything else. You can feel at ease and know that you will not be put on the spot.
8. Will I be asked to fill out or sign anything while I am there? If you are visiting with us you can choose to be as private as you'd like. There will be no pressure for you to provide any information.
Do You Know If You Will Truly Be Saved?
1. Many people believe they are saved Yet the Bible shows that few will be saved (Matthew 7:13-23). To have a relationship with God, you must be obedient to the teachings of our Lord (II John 1:9). Think about Jesus' question in Luke 6:46!
2. There is an account in the Scriptures wherein a man was reading from the prophet Isaiah and was confused about what he was reading (Acts 8:25-39). If you read that account, you find that he received help from Philip who was an evangelist. That same help is available to you. Again, please call, text, or email for assistance.
